As I stood in front of the mirror, I knew with every fiber of my being I was ready to resign my corporate management job. While this did not surprise me, I was surprised to know I was supposed to ask for a significant severance package.
I didn’t know where I was going to work, did not have a plan, and was going to go from a large salary to no salary. For about 10 seconds I had doubts. I said out loud, “Those who believe in infinite possibilities get severance packages when they resign.” The severance package I received was $1,000 more than what I needed!
Prosperity continued to bless me while I transitioned to a new profession. I decided to release materialistic thinking and my five-karat diamond bracelet. The bracelet sold quickly on eBay. I shipped the bracelet off before receiving payment.
Turns out, the transaction was a scam. I cried for about an hour and then I centered myself in prayer. At that moment in time, I felt my Christ Nature in ways I simply cannot explain. I emailed the person who scammed me and told her I forgave her. I filed a police report.
Hours later the officer called me and said, “You’ll never guess what I have.” I got the bracelet back and kept it as a reminder of what I learned from this experience: There is nothing wrong with having expensive things. Money is not evil; the love of money is what does not serve our Higher Self.
I have a new job helping uninsured patients at a hospital. Every time I see a patient, I see their Christ Light regardless of circumstances.
In short, I have learned how to live life through my Divinity.
