God’s presence within provides understanding and comfort.
Comfort is a state of mind and being that provides strength through any challenge or conflict. The word itself is combined from the Latin for “strong with,” and it is that strength that I respond to with gratitude and appreciation.
The greatest feeling of comfort comes when I extend its peace to others. I am here to be, to know, to teach, and to share. I do those things and more when I provide comfort to those around me.
If I find myself struggling with a challenge, I remember that the truth of God’s presence and love already exists in every situation. I have only to claim it to bring it forth. With faith I affirm: God’s presence within provides understanding and comfort.
Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you.—Isaiah 26:3
