Hi, call me simply Mika. I'm from the Philippines. Filipina here, yeah. :) I am very wonderstruck to find a site like this, indeed. This is my first time visiting this website and yet when I was taking a tour, I find it very nice and wonderful to stay since everywhere I look, I can read words of God. Nice to meet everyone. :) Have a wonderful day ahead filled with God's blessings! Take care.
A glorious day to everyone! :)

Hello Daily Word I'm Michelle from the U.K. I grew up with my grandmother who lived for her Daily Word and have just been re-introduced to it by my sister-in-law. Have been looking around the site today and finding it very uplifting and a Breath of Fresh Air. It is very comforting to be able to go to a place that's tranquil and uplifting and one that just draws you in, in the calmest possibly way. As a grown woman I can now truly appreciate what captivated Granny and kept her going all those decades ago. Thank you Daily Word for re-entering and re-energising my world and space. Keep up the good work. Michelle
Nadinsky, hello.. wonderful meeting you. I agree with what you have said above.
While working in an Adult Home for several years, as director of activities and nursing, I know of one resident who was part of Unity and found a special "calm and peace in this 90 plus yr old, respected woman" She never had one Ill word for or to anyone and stood tall, even as she aged. She never lost the peace and joy even before passing away, which she did the day I was on, and she just passed on quietly in her chair. It was really her time to move on for the new journey. You could tell she was never worried about things as such.
The peace really meant so much to me, a teaching of its own just like your grandmother it sounds for you. And the books she kept close to her were from the School of Unity ( One of the first I take it) and what she learned and the secret of life, showed though her as a beacon, for many. Including me.

Hello! My name is Carol, but using username ,AeKatrina. Am new here.
Look forward to having great sharing of discussions ,and look forward to learning so much.Perhaps I may even be able to help someone myself along the way?
Will be wonderful to take part in positive and loving discussions and yet I realize some may be also sharing our heartfelt needs. Laughing and crying together is what makes a close family/community, I feel. Hope we have a long relationship together.
Good morning to you all!! I was a faithful Daily reader of Daily Word, untill my subscription ran out. Now you have this whole new world of access, to his holy word. I am very excited to be able to get back into my morning routine of reading and praying. Nice to meet you all.
Blessings to you also. Enjoy your day.
God Bless to everyone!
And I too wish a glorious day to everyone. In the US it is a holiday called Thanksgiving and so the message for today speaks of gratitude. Here is the message for today emailed to me earlier.
"I Breathe Into a State of All-Encompassing Gratitude. As long as I have breath, I have life. As long as I have life, I am grateful.
I draw in deep, calming breaths that spread through my body, enlivening my senses. I breathe in gratitude for all I see, hear, taste, smell and touch. I am grateful for my loved ones, my home and for the myriad blessings in my life.
With my next breath, I dive deeper into gratefulness, breathing in gratitude for my oneness with God. I am grateful for who I am in God-whole, beautiful and irrepressible. With an energizing, amplifying breath, I breathe out any disquiet in my soul.
Poised in an elevated awareness of gratitude, I give thanks for all experiences: the physical and the mystical.
I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart. - Psalm 86:12"
After sensing the breath, the words in me can drop away. Following the breath going in and filling and out and emptying is a tremendous joy. As I sit here now, I feel as if my breath is the prayer and that in some way the prophets of old were motioning us to be beholders of the breath. To me this is praying without ceasing.
The breath becomes my prayer and as I am connected to it, I am one in this ocean of being that surrounds me, enfolds me and is me.
For this experience and the ability to share, I am truly grateful.
